A rainy weekend. Heavy rain during the night. I remembered the interesting stump in the middle of the golf course, took a folding chair, a camera, the notebook and left the house. The thought of calling a friend arose, and he answered. By the time I got to the stump we were still talking. Carelessly snapped a picture of the formation, and walked around it to see it from a different angle. "Russell, I stopped talking because I am looking at a snake right now. A garter snake. I don't think it's going to move, it's curled up and quite cold I guess. What a nice surprise."

after rain quietude and explanation spaghettis
A fire last night, wood floating in rainwater this morning.
Poor flooded succulents, it might be time to bring the plants in.
If you wonder why so many non remarkable photos, sometimes everything seems beautiful. Lately I have been thinking how stupid the habit of explaining things is. The stories are neither needed, nor true. All those random explanation spaghettis. Tons of them.
