basil and drawings

The shape of basil leaves. Like boats. Love.

My son asked me: Are you still writing in the blog?
I said yes.
How many people read it?
About four. But it doesn't matter.
Then he said: I got 30K likes for one of my reddit posts.
And I said: You win.

The two pictures with the squirrel look like paintings to me.

Was looking at story ideas today. Took pictures of bits thinking that commenting/analyzing  may be helpful. Now it seems unnecessary. Oh well. I never know.

I really like this sheet. Seems like the naturalness of plants is captured. However much I am drawn to plants, I think they can be so difficult to draw. Nothing was said kind of.

I find joy in free alive, maybe messy looking (to some of you) marks.

The charm of simplicity.

Animals are wonderful! Sorry for the dumb comments.

A flower transformed into or resembling an animal.

Nice open, happy marks.

T
his ain't that pretty, but I love a sense of movement, like some fun drapery or a colorful abstract thing.

For the love of dots. And waves.

Movement.

For the love of bright colors.

The ever amazing shapes of plants. The curves, the blooms.

Pouring water and plants.
Berries.

For the love of teapots. And elephants.

That's finally the end.
I don't know if this was helpful.
