Fall

My left hand had 16 fingers, my right 18.

Today I was happy with my drawing class. The students are progressing!

Good day to you.

life drawing

The model today was a retired dancer which explains the dynamic poses he took.
I did not have a good day, but I am sharing my sketches nonetheless. The new year is coming and all these posts will disappear. So I can freely post often. One shouldn't look for logic in what I do or say.
Also, the bunny escaped today. His/her wish. I don't blame him/her.

Today during life drawing I realized how much I miss free subconscious drawing. I have committed to much volunteering and haven't drawn freely in a long time. Felt so drained. Felt the longing to do something for the heart. From the heart. Even if it isn't drawing...even a conscious walk would be
lovely...

After this drawing I switched to the left hand to hopefully improve the experience. And it worked.

The head was too small, so I am showing it separately.

soccer practice

The weather has been so nice this fall. Sunny and dry!

Today I received this book. Saw it in Timisoara this summer and loved the artwork. (the story is nice too)

I was happy with my sketches today.

The following are from a playground I went to on Sunday.

Best wishes.

learning curve

On Monday I bought supplies for the drawing class. The blue ribbon is so beautiful...

and these Buddha's hand fruits are impressive. Distributed by Goblin Fingers TM.

Me playing with the new materials. The following are blind contour drawings and other experiments.

A successful soup experiment.

Today was the third class. One of the assignments proved too difficult. I felt bad. I need to keep things simple, suitable for the beginning level...but not boring at the same time?!

nostalgic because of the neglected aspects

Was reminded of the neglected sides.
Felt sad.
Maybe I have to talk to them. Ask them, and listen carefully.

The following are sketches from today and one is from Tuesday.
